When your iPad will not mirror to your AppleTV, try the following steps:
Restart your iPad
1) Press and hold the power button on the top right to power off your iPad
2) Press and hold the power button again to turn on your iPad
If your iPad still will not mirror you can try restarting your AppleTV.
1) Press "Menu" on your AppleTV remote
2) Select "General"
3) Scroll to the bottom and select "Restart" (DO NOT SELECT RESET)
After your AppleTV restarts, if your iPad still will not mirror, submit a tech request here.
